Kathy Tra

As a first generation Vietnamese-American, my goal has always been to make my parents proud and find a way to make the most out of their sacrifices to move to a new nation to provide a life for me.

 

Throughout my years at The University of Texas at Austin, I quickly realized that my passion was storytelling and I wanted to pursue this passion within the music industry. I'm a Music Industry Professional with experience in marketing, digital marketing, social media management, and creator partnerships. I’ve gotten the chance to build out, present, and execute dynamic and strategic marketing plans for developing artists that has increased artist visibility, audience, and engagement.

In my free time, you'll find me blasting One Direction with my windows down singing at the top of my lungs. Other times, you'll hear true crime podcasts playing while I do my makeup. If you can't reach me, I'm probably going on a hunt to add to my Squishmallow collection.
